Maloja was born from an unforgettable day in the Engadin mountains: in 2001, founders Peter Räuber and Klaus Haas found exactly what the name stands for today at the Maloja Pass in Switzerland – freedom, a connection to nature, and the joy of being outdoors. Three years later, in 2004, they founded the brand from a converted farmhouse in the Chiemgau region. The first collection was called "Soul in the Woods," and it's remained the brand's defining theme ever since.
