Thanks to the magnetic Quick-Snap connectors, charging can be done whether the battery is installed or detached, without the need for special docking stations or adapters.

The charging status can always be monitored via the integrated LED (green = charged / red = low), but advanced monitoring is also possible using a compatible cycling computer or the MyCampy app. If needed, the WRL rechargeable batteries also offer a fast-charging function that allows more than 20 % of the total capacity to be restored in just 10 minutes. The universal USB-C charging cable used for this purpose is standard across the entire 13-speed platform and is also compatible with the corresponding components of the Super Record WRL 12-speed series. Additionally, it supports “reverse charging”, which allows a smartphone to be used as a powerbank in emergency situations.
