For anyone who doesn’t let the weather dictate their cycling season: The Kuro Mid STX II unisex Gravel cycling shoe is waterproof, breathable, and built to take a beating. It’s built on a newly developed last with a wider toe box for a natural foot position. The BOA® Fit System allows for quick, pressure-point-free adjustment. Combined with the stiff outsole and SPD clip-in compatibility, this ensures efficient power transfer during both the pull and push phases of pedaling. The snug-fitting, elastic upper and the proven Sympatex® membrane ensure a dry foot environment. In addition, the outer fabric of the Kuro Mid II STX is water- and dirt-repellent.
VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons—so-called PFAS or PFC chemicals—which are suspected of being harmful to health. Furthermore, the cleat window on the underside of the sole is waterproof-sealed. On gravel, bikepacking, and cross-country tours, there are often sections where you have to push or carry your bike. The off-road sole provides maximum grip for these situations.
