The Motion Super Moto-X is the rugged sibling of the Motion Big Apple—specially designed for the higher loads encountered on electric bikes, S-pedelecs, and cargo bikes. This is aided by the massive tire volume, as well as a reinforced carcass and Greenguard puncture protection with Double Defense. The load capacity is extraordinary: depending on the version, a Motion Super Moto-X can handle up to 120 kilograms per tire—making it suitable even for the most challenging transport tasks.

Distinctive Tread Pattern

The Motion Super Moto-X’s particular tread pattern, with its clean lines and shapes, rolls exceptionally well because it is nearly closed. The tread depth between the tread blocks and the textured surface reliably provide the necessary grip on roads, bike paths, and paved forest trails.

Environmentally Friendly Alternative: ADDIX GREEN

As with most tires in the Motion family, Schwalbe uses its pioneering ADDIX Green rubber compound in the Motion Super Moto-X. It delivers top performance and is exceptionally durable. With up to 80 percent renewable and recycled materials, ADDIX Green is Schwalbe’s most eco-friendly compound. It incorporates carbon black from the company’s own tire recycling process.

Custom Tire Pressure

With a balloon tire like the Motion Super Moto-X, tire pressure is especially important. By adjusting the pressure to match the system’s weight, you’ll get the best performance out of the tires and can fine-tune their characteristics. On a cargo bike, it’s worth adjusting the tire pressure specifically when you’re carrying heavy loads.
