Wolf Tooth Locked-In™ Bar Ends give riders more control with reduced fatigue for gravity riding. A firm, ergonomic outboard flange supports the rider's hand allowing for a lighter grip on the bars and reduced arm pump so you can push your bike harder for longer. Wolf Tooth designed these in collaboration with World Cup downhill athlete Joe Breeden.
More Control, Less Fatigue
Wolf Tooth engineers worked side-by-side with World Cup downhill athletes to iterate the shape and durometer of the Locked-In Bar Ends for a comfortable, confident ergonomic fit. The result is a patent-pending bar end that drastically reduces rider fatigue and arm pump, allowing you to have more control from the top of the run all the way to bottom.
Lighten Your Grip, Push Your Limits
No more white knuckle descents. Locked-In Bar Ends let you loosen your grip and load the grips and bar ends as necessary during descents. This allows you to freely push the bike down into full-tilt corners for more grip, all while reducing pressure on your hands.
Protect Your Digits
Locked-In Bar Ends extend forward and shield your hands and pinky fingers from tree strikes, with a chamfered leading edge that shrugs off, rather than catching, obstacles that might take you down.
E-Bike Game Changer
E-bikes are heavy, which requires extra strength for maneuvering. Locked-In Bar Ends provide additional points of leverage to make it easier for handling e-bikes while riding downhill.
Simple. Robust. Locked-In.
Wolf Tooth Locked-In Bar end construction employs a simple keyed interface between the lobed, anti-rotation cap and internal wedge to ensure a tight fit and a strong mechanical lock.

Incompatibility Note:
- Deity Speedway Carbon: Internal step; may fit if the bars have not been cut down.
- Chromag BZA Carbon: Internal step; may fit if the bars have not been cut down.
- Hope 35R Carbon: Not compatible (internal diameter is too small).
Wolf Tooth have not tested every handlebar on the market, so there may be other incompatible models. If you find a handlebar that does not fit, please contact Wolf Tooth customer service.
Use of the Locked-In Bar Ends requires a grip with an open end. Many grips with closed ends can still be made to work by punching out the closed end.
Some grips may have a removable bar end but still have a small lip on the plastic liner that keeps the grip from being able to be pushed inboard from the end of the bar [Ergon GA2, GDH]. Wolf Tooth recommend removing this lip by sanding it off using a Dremel tool.
What grips don't work:
- Grips with angled ends [Ergon GE1 Evo]
- Wolf Tooth don’t suggest using grips with outboard lock on clamps, especially if the outboard clamp is an integrated bar end [Chromag Squarewave]
