The redesigned XX1-Eagle rear derailleur opens up new possibilities for uncompromising racers and dream bike builders. The crisp, precise shifting feel of the XX1 Eagle —which generations of racers have come to rely on—now features a new cage design for even better chain guide. The XX1-Eagle rear derailleur takes full advantage of SRAM’s new 10-52 cassettes while remaining fully backward compatible with 10-50-tooth cassettes.

Technologies

X-HORIZON™ - The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON™ rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, thereby eliminating so-called “ghost shifting” while also reducing shifting force. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper pulley ensures a constant chain spacing in every gear.

X-ACTUATION™ - Developed specifically for SRAM X1, the X-ACTUATION™ delivers crisp, precise, and consistent shifting performance across the entire cassette’s gear range. Multi-adjustable trigger shift lever. MatchMaker X-compatible.

ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ - ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ rear derailleurs offer maximum drivetrain stability—even on brutal and extremely demanding terrain. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ technology puts an end to wobbly rear derailleurs and chain slap—without compromising precision.

CAGE LOCK™ - Dank der CAGE LOCK™Thanks to the technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel—as well as mounting the chain—is faster and easier than ever. Simply slide the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock it in place.

X-SYNC™ - X-SYNC™ ensures maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp, narrow tooth profile and the rounded, slanted edges help provide a chain guide. To deliver the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-SYNC™ chainrings feature recesses to remove dirt and mud from the inner chain links and rollers. Manufactured in Germany, the X-SYNC™ chainrings are a key component of SRAM’s 1X™ drivetrain.
