Zipp’s MOTO technology single-wall rim is the optimal solution for challenging off-road terrain thanks to a feature called “ankle compliance.” Imagine a runner taking a sharp turn whose ankle naturally bends to maintain grip as the runner leans. The rim can flex at specific points to remain parallel to the ground during the turn, thereby increasing traction.
