Giant REVOLT ADVANCED SL 2 - Carbon Gravel Bike - 2027 - deep lagoon

Description

Giant REVOLT ADVANCED SL 2 - Carbon Gravel Bike - 2027 - deep lagoon

The lightest and fastest gravel road bike Giant has ever built.

The new Revolt Advanced SL was designed as a complete system to give you a competitive edge on long, challenging gravel rides. It combines aerodynamic efficiency with smooth, precise handling and helps you keep up the pace when others fall behind.

Highlights of the Giant REVOLT ADVANCED SL 2 - carbon gravel bike

  • Aerosystem Shape—Advanced aero tube shaping is used throughout the frame set, fork, and cockpit to minimize air turbulence and reduce drag at gravel racing speeds of 30–45 km/h. Each profile is optimized as part of the overall system rather than considered in isolation.
  • Advanced SL Composite - At the Giant Composite Factory, high-quality raw carbon is woven using state-of-the-art technical processes and construction methods. “Continuous Fiber Technology” provides additional strength and minimizes weight.
  • Contact SLR XR – The one-piece aero cockpit weighs just 295 g and offers an improved aerodynamic profile. It features fully integrated cable routing and ergonomic geometry optimized for all riding positions.
  • Cadex Max GXR Wheel System - An elite gravel road bike wheel based on a one-piece hub-and-spoke construction with a 50 mm rim depth, designed for maximum power transfer and aerodynamic efficiency.
  • Cadex GXR Tires—Specifically developed for high-intensity gravel racing, featuring a fast-rolling center tread, newly shaped shoulder lugs, and a streamlined casing to improve aerodynamics, reduce rolling resistance, and provide secure grip on varied terrain. Rolling resistance is 3.03 watts lower per bike compared to the CADEX GX 40-mm tires.
  • Race-Specific Geometry - A lower stack (557 mm vs. 586 mm, size M), a longer reach (395 mm), a steeper seat tube angle (74.5° vs. 73.5°), and a wheelbase of 1,033 mm with 433 mm chain stays place the rider in an aggressive, aerodynamic racing position. The geometry is optimized for stability at high speeds, precise cornering on loose gravel, and safe descents.
  • D-FUSE technology—The proprietary D-shaped composite seatpost dampens vibrations and absorbs road shocks, resulting in a smooth, comfortable ride.
  • OverDrive - Enhanced, oversized headset bearings and an OverDrive full-composite steerer tube provide greater frontal and lateral stiffness in the fork—resulting in more precise steering and a more confident ride at racing speeds.

Key Features of the Giant REVOLT ADVANCED SL 2

ULTRA-LIGHT EFFICIENCY | The new frame and fork are handcrafted from the highest-quality Advanced SL composite, making this model the lightest Revolt ever. The frame and fork are 176 g lighter than the previous generation of the Revolt Advanced Pro, while the new Contact SLR XR Integrated handlebar, the lighter wheelset, and the CADEX GXR 45-mm tires contribute to a total weight savings of 288 g*. The reduced weight and wider tires deliver more dynamic handling, faster acceleration, and greater efficiency on climbs.

AERO SPEED OVER THE ENTIRE COURSE | Aerodynamic efficiency adds up over several hours. The Revolt Advanced SL’s aerodynamic tube shape is optimized for real-world gravel racing speeds of 30–45 km/h and reduces drag on the frame, fork, and cockpit. Combined with new wheelsets and tires designed as a single aerodynamic unit, the system reduces total drag by 18.99 watts compared to the previous Revolt Advanced Pro model. Lower drag over several hours means less fatigue, higher sustained power output, and measurable time savings at the finish line.

RACING GEOMETRY | With a stack of 557 mm and a reach of 395 mm (size M), a steeper seat tube angle of 74.5°, a wheelbase of 1,033 mm, and chain stays of 433 mm, the new Revolt Advanced SL positions the rider in an aggressive, aerodynamic racing posture. Forward-leaning, low, and efficient. At race pace on loose terrain, it feels fast, precise, and confident. Optimized for 45-mm tires with 53 mm of maximum clearance, it’s specifically designed for modern gravel races.
