Gelu R3 Carbon Saddle

The R model represents a turning point for Gelu saddles, both aesthetically and structurally, as well as functionally.

With a weight of an incredible 43 g, this model is one of Gelu’s lightest saddles, yet it features a number of unique details: The rails are significantly longer and thicker, allowing for a wider range of adjustment, and they extend in one piece beneath the front tip of the saddle, making it break-resistant. The front tip is slightly shorter and significantly sturdier. The central opening features a new “teardrop” design and is reinforced all around with a rounded carbon profile, which gives the saddle high strength and works in conjunction with “Drop Stop.” The open holes on the surface ensure excellent ventilation and reduce the weight to an absolute minimum. A horizontal “blade” has been placed between the rear wings, giving the saddle great stability. Compact and ergonomic, this model adapts easily to any bone structure. The central opening was specifically designed to completely eliminate any pressure. Orthopedically certified!
