Building on the proven performance of the Cura disc brake, the focus is on refining every detail to deliver an even smoother, more precise, and more customizable braking experience—while maintaining the consistent performance and reliability expected of a high-performance brake.

This brake benefits from Formula’s extensive experience with Miyakis ’s renowned Kashima Coat® coating, which has been successfully used for years on high-quality suspension components. This exclusive coating, applied to the master cylinder pistons at the Miyaki plant in Japan, reduces friction and enables even lighter, smoother, and more consistent lever operation under a wide variety of conditions.

Like every Cura brake, the Cura 4 Kashima features a fully forged and anodized construction designed for high structural integrity, long-term durability, and low weight. The new Kashima coating not only contributes to the brake’s optimized performance but also gives it a distinctive, premium appearance inspired by cutting-edge racing technology.

Tool Free Reach Adjustment | In combination with the tool-free reach adjustment, the rider can adjust the lever without tools to achieve the best possible riding feel.

Feeling Control System | This system allows the rider to customize the lever entirely to their needs, resulting in optimal performance and comfort. Additionally, the rider can fine-tune the balance between lever feel and braking power—something that was previously impossible with stock levers.
