RLND URB2 aluminum rim

The rims in the URBAN series were developed specifically for daily city use. With their sturdy hollow-chamber construction as well as the eyeleted spoke hole drillings, these aluminum rims provide an excellent foundation for durable wheels that stand the test of continuous urban riding. With an inner width of 19 mm, the URB rims are suitable for tires ranging from 22 to 57 mm in width, ideal for classic city tires as well as comfort-oriented touring tires.

The URBAN models differ slightly in their rim geometry but share the same balanced ratio of stiffness to weight, which ensures consistently predictable handling. In a direct comparison, the URB2 version features a slightly lower profile height (17.5 mm).

Shimano Nexus SG-C6001 gear hub

The SG-C6001 gear hubs from the Shimano Nexus series are characterized by an optimized overall riding comfort, an extended service life as well as an increased efficiency which they owe in no small part to an optimized ratchet design. The wide gear ratio range of 307 % is distributed across 8 gears which can be shifted smoothly and effortlessly even under the high chain tension generated by E-Bike motors. Of course, conventional bikes also benefit from these advantages. The 8C version features an aluminum housing and an integrated coaster brake.
