Down-country riding is all about one thing: riding up fast, riding down fast, and repeating. The Moventor 2.0 MIPS is virtually perfect for the demands of mountain bikers. This mtb helmet is lightweight, well-ventilated, and features a deeper fit that provides extra protection at the back of the head. When the trail heads downhill, the ten air intakes and nine air vents ensure excellent ventilation. In addition to a host of well-designed features for off-road riding, this MIPS model includes impact protection. This is designed to protect the brain, especially when a cyclist hits the ground at an angle during a fall. In such cases, the brain is subjected to strong rotational forces that can lead to severe brain injuries. The MIPS system incorporates a movable, low-friction plastic shell into the helmet, which helps reduce rotation and better protect the head.

• Lower edge protection: A polycarbonate (PC) outer shell covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts, and signs of wear
• Ponytail opening: Thanks to a cutout in the height-adjustable strap system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns, or braids
• MIPS layer: A thin plastic shell located between the inner padding and the helmet’s energy-absorbing shell to counteract rotational forces during falls
• Reflective sticker: for better visibility in the dark
• Height-Adjustable Visor: The visor’s position can be adjusted using click-stop positions to provide optimal protection from overhanging branches and sunlight
• Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: A dial at the back of the head for customizing the helmet to fit the head circumference
• Trivider™: an exceptionally flat strap distributor with fixed strap positioning to prevent accidental adjustment
• Comfort padding: Soft padding inserts for optimal comfort, secured inside the helmet with Velcro
  Removable, washable padding: can be removed and hand-washed or replaced as needed
