Named after Accrington’s most important export, Nori bricks - the strongest bricks in the world, also known as the “King of Bricks.” The foundation of the Empire State Building is made of these incredible bricks. Why “Nori”? The letters “IRON” were accidentally placed upside down in the brick molds, resulting in “NORI.”
