Q36.5 Vampire Shell Jacket Men - black
Inspired by the needs of professional riders who need to stay warm and protected in the peloton on wet days - especially when the intensity remains low and it’s difficult to maintain body temperature - the Vampire Shell Jacket is an ultralight, aerodynamically cut, fleece-lined rain jacket. Featuring fully taped outer seams, a waterproof membrane with a 10,000 mm water column rating integrated with the ultralight Q36.5 Air Insulation, and an extra-high, hermetically sealed collar (which gives the jacket its name), the Vampire is the ideal jacket for long hours in cold rain of varying intensity - or an extremely fast winter training jacket for riders who want to maintain their explosiveness even in winter. Like all pieces in the Q36.5 Foul Weather System, this jacket also features the new Race Fit cut, which guarantees a perfectly smooth, aerodynamic fit.
Features of the Q36.5 Vampire Shell Jacket for Men
Hermetic Collar
The Vampire features a new, distinctive hermetic collar design with an extended shape that protects the rider in one of the most critical areas for effective thermoregulation.
Waterproof+
The Vampire is equipped with a waterproof membrane rated at 10,000 mm water column and features fully externally taped seams for added protection against moisture.
Air Insulation
Q36.5’s proprietary Air Insulation is applied to all front-facing areas of the jacket—that is, the entire front torso and sleeves—providing ultra-lightweight thermal protection. The unlined sections on the back and the inside of the arms simultaneously enable optimal thermoregulation during high-intensity activity.
Race Fit
The new Race Fit cut guarantees maximum aerodynamics with minimal fabric usage—for a fast and lightweight jacket. Please note that the Race Fit runs slightly smaller than our standard cut. If your current Q36.5 size already fits on the snug side, you should choose one size larger.
