SRAM GX Eagle Transmission Chain

The GX Eagle T-Type chain is characterized by maximum durability and resilience. Specifically developed to optimize the Eagle Transmission drivetrain system, it is SRAM’s strongest chain to date, alongside the X0 and XX Eagle models.

This is thanks to the innovative Flattop™ profile—already well-known in the road bike sector—which not only enhances the look of any bicycle but also improves shifting performance and durability. Thanks to the use of solid rivets (Solid Pins), the 12-speed chain effortlessly withstands not only everyday stresses but also the increased torque of modern electric bikes.

Note: Compatible exclusively with SRAM Eagle Transmission drivetrains and T-Type components. 

Flattop™ | To accommodate cassettes with a wider gear range and enable smoother, more precise shifting, a narrower chain is required. To ensure durability isn’t compromised, SRAM has added material to the flat side of the outer links and hard-chromed the rivets, inner links, and bushings. As a result, Flattop™ chains not only outperform conventional models in terms of tensile strength and durability, but also enhance efficiency and smoothness.
