Details of the Alé R-EV1 thermal shield bib tights

The construction consists of two different technical fabrics, strategically positioned according to the cyclist’s exposure to air and thermal requirements. On the front and back—the areas most exposed to wind and rain—a three-layer fabric with a Windtex® Pro membrane is used, which is waterproof and completely windproof, offering excellent protection against the elements. The fabric is also treated with a DWR finish, causing dirt and water droplets to bead up and roll off, ensuring the garment stays dry and maintains its performance even during demanding rides. In the less exposed areas, the B-Hot thermal DWR fabric is used, an advanced thermal material that is stimulated and stretched by the natural motion of pedaling, thereby contributing to a temperature increase of more than 1 °C, reducing heat loss, and helping to maintain the rider’s body temperature while not compromising breathability or elasticity. The cycling tights feature a highly anatomical fit, specifically designed for the saddle position to ensure a perfect, snug, and comfortable fit. The absence of wrinkles and excess layers of fabric ensures maximum freedom of movement, long-lasting comfort, and high performance even under the harshest winter conditions.
