Black Diamond Vision Mips Climbing Helmet - Black

As one of the most durable foam-based helmets in our Black Diamond collection, the Vision MIPS is constructed from EPP composite foam with molded-in EPS and an ABS shell to protect against dents. At the same time, the helmet is equipped with the new, revolutionary MIPS technology. The MIPS system protects the head from rotational forces generated during an impact when the blow comes from an oblique angle. This additional protection system has been proven to reduce rotational forces on the brain by absorbing and redirecting impacts that strike the helmet at an angle. The improved fit on the sides and back enhances protection and meets the recommended UIAA requirements. Strategically placed ventilation ports ensure air circulation in warm temperatures. The Vision’s retention system and chin strap are lightweight and comfortable, while the integrated headlamp clips are positioned so that gear doesn’t snag when threading through loops and a headlamp can be attached after dark.
