The Features of the THRON 7 EQP

• reach new heights | The THRON EQP’s air suspension is fully tuned for comfort and safety. It effortlessly absorbs curbs in the city, while smoothly filtering out coarse gravel in the woods and offering plenty of traction—and thus safety—even on wet surfaces.
• Equipped for adventure and everyday life | THRON EQP – The “EQP” stands for “equipped.” That’s exactly what the THRON EQP is. The wide, custom-fit metal fenders are extra-long at the front to keep your feet dry. At the rear, they’re slightly shorter to prevent scratches when transporting the bike to the basement.
• THRON Suspension | The THRON’s suspension is fully optimized for rides of long length and mountainous terrain. Just like riding a magic carpet, the responsive suspension simply smooths out all bumps on downhill sections. The suspension travel is released in a controlled and smooth manner.
• Brakes | All THRON models feature 4-piston brakes and 203-mm rotors, delivering plenty of stopping power.
• Tried-and-true, reliable Bosch power | Generation 5 of the Bosch Performance Line CX motor is as reliable as ever—if not even more so. You probably already know pretty well what to expect from this motor. The Bosch Performance Line CX has your back in every situation. So nothing—not even rattling noises on the trails—stands in the way of your fun on tours with the THRON. Maximum torque of up to 120 Nm is possible (via app update).
• Charging port on the seat tube | And the specially designed cover for the charging port on the seat tube doesn’t flap around—it snaps into place when rotated to the side when you’re riding with the Range Extender. But that’s not all: the specially designed motor nut and the cadence magnet hidden in the rim are discreet—or rather, completely invisible from the outside.
• Premium Look and Feel | Polished and smoothed weld seams give the THRON a sleek carbon look. Add to that the semi-integrated rear shock and the C.I.S. 2.0 stem with integrated cable routing. The metallic paint finish with a painted main link completes the THRON’s premium look.
• Chainstay Protector | We’ve thought of all the small but important details, too. The extra-thick, bolted chainstay protector makes the bicycle quieter than ever. The motor cover is particularly robust. But the THRON has so much ground clearance anyway that our bicycle testers had trouble finding steps of sufficient size to push it to its limits during testing.
• GPS-Tracker | Another smart feature is the integrated Apple AirTag or Chipolo mount located beneath the lockable rechargeable battery. Additionally, there’s a dedicated space in the motor cover for the Bosch ConnectModule. It’s available as a retrofit solution at specialty retailers. With a paid subscription, you can use it to access all of Bosch’s additional premium services. These include enhanced theft protection, tracking, alarms, and theft reports in case of an emergency.
