Technologies of the SRAM Level Stealth Brake

Bleeding Edge

In this new brake fluid circuit, the bleed port has been relocated to the underside of the caliper, allowing all four piston ports to access it. This ensures that the caliper is naturally filled with fluid during the bleeding process, enabling easier and more consistent bleeding.

DirectLink

SRAM’s DirectLink lever design delivers a solid, positive braking feel the moment the brake lever is pulled—an uncompromising solution for precise control.

Lever Pivot Bearings

Sealed precision bearings on the twist grip ensure smooth, precise grip movement and allow for effortless operation with just one finger.

Timing Port Closure

The synchronization port on a hydraulic brake is the connection between the reservoir and the master cylinder bore. When the lever is actuated, a pot-style gasket passes through this area and closes the port, pressurizing the system. SRAM’s new TPC Plus system for closing the synchronization port features durable gaskets and an ultra-smooth master cylinder bore surface for reliable and consistent braking performance.

Expandable Bladder

SRAM’s new brake lever design incorporates a new bladder shape that helps regulate and reduce air bubbles. The bladder is specially shaped to pump air out of the lever and direct the fluid exactly where it’s needed. The result is improved backpressure relief for reliable and consistent braking performance.
