Maxtal Aluminum Alloy

Lightweight and sturdy. This special aluminum alloy, exclusive to Mavic, offers a better strength-to-weight ratio than the conventional 6106 alloy.

SUP Welding Technology

Soudé-Usiné process, resulting in a stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is welded using an electric arc. The weld seam is then milled to create a smooth surface.
