Welded rim joint, high-quality spokes, outstanding impact resistance. The Beskar 30 wheels from Newmen are ready for any trail and also suitable for every riding style thanks to various rim options. From lightweight Cross Country to nearly indestructible Downhill wheels, the Beskar family can handle it all.

What all models have in common is the extremely durable rim whose profile is the result of numerous impact tests and FEM analyses. And which provides both plenty of grip and comfort thanks to its very flat design. Made from premium aluminum 6069, it is highly durable yet lightweight. Also featured on all wheels in the series is the lightweight yet reliable Fade MTB hub. Only high-quality bearings are used for these hubs, while the housing is reinforced at critical points with additional material. Furthermore, on the rear hub, three pawls, a newly developed tooth profile as well as an enlarged freewheel diameter ensure optimal, smooth and quiet power transmission. Of course, a high-end wheel also requires high-end spokes. On the Beskar 30, these come from Sapim and vary in number and gauge depending on the intended use. The ideal conditions for a perfect balance of weight, durability and comfort.

Light, Base, Strong or DH?

To offer the perfect wheel for every riding style, Newmen has developed four rim variants: Light, Base, Strong and DH. While the rim profile remains the same, the wall thickness varies. This allows for weight savings on the front wheel which experiences slightly less stress, while the rear wheel features increased stability. Depending on the intended use, the following combinations are recommended:

• XC = Light front wheel + Light rear wheel
• Trail = Light front wheel + Base rear wheel
• Enduro = Base front wheel + Strong rear wheel
• DH = Strong front wheel + Strong rear wheel
• DH Race = Strong front wheel + DH rear wheel

Accordingly, the Beskar 30 Light front wheel is suitable for both Cross Country and Trail mountain bikes. Depending on your preference, the Beskar 30 rear wheel in either the Light or Base version is the perfect complement.

Beskar 30 XC | Aluminum at its best. And more than just a performance booster for XC mountain bikes. The Beskar 30 XC wheelset bridges the gap between expensive carbon wheels and heavy, narrow aluminum models, whether on a race bike or in the down-country segment. The Light aluminum rims not only impress with their eponymous low weight but are also exceptionally stable thanks to a wide profile design with a welded joint. Furthermore, when paired with modern XC and Trail tires, they deliver exceptional grip and comfort. The package is rounded out by the proven and equally durable FADE MTB hubs.

The combination of Light front wheel and Base rear wheel results in a lightweight wheelset that makes no compromises, neither on price nor on reliability. For added stability and long-term durability, the wide profile of the aluminum rims has been made even more resilient. The rims are complemented by the proven and quiet FADE MTB hubs.
