Evolution X.A.25 Kids – Ready To Rumble

More and more well-known manufacturers now offer high-quality 24- and 26-inch mountain bikes in their lineups that are specifically designed for kids and look similar to their parents’ bikes. The catch: the total weight of the bicycle and most of its components. Adult bicycles often weigh about the same as kids’ bicycles, except that the parents weigh 40 to 60 kg more and have greater strength. Newmen has addressed this issue and offers wheels specifically tailored to children’s performance levels.

Visually, the Evolution X.A.25 Kids range is modeled after 29-inch wheels from Newmen. However, the Fade hubs have been specially adapted to meet the requirements and weight of kids. To achieve a lighter component, the spoke flanges were designed to be more compact, while the freewheel system on the rear wheel was downsized. Accordingly, the number of spokes could also be reduced to 24 without compromising stability. The aluminum rims and Sapim Laser spokes themselves match the material that has proven itself over the years in Newmen’s 29-inch models.
