Fizik Kudo Arche-Type Road Helmet - anthracite

A high-performance, multi-discipline bike helmet for road, gravel, and XC mtb, featuring the added protection of the MIPS Air Node System, an integrated taillight, and a limited edition Arche-Type design.

Kudo is a versatile, cross-discipline bike helmet for road, gravel, and XC—suitable for both rides and races. Available here in the limited-edition Arche-Type, this special Kudo version pays homage to the design process—like a prototype that has been perfected into its final form.

ARCHE-TYPE
Arche-Type is a new, limited-edition design available for every model in the Fizik helmet collection. Featuring a translucent PC shell that reveals the underlying EPS core, Arche-Type helmets combine a dark gray color scheme with contrasting matte and glossy finishes. Outlined Fizik logos provide subtle accents, along with technical text highlighting the functions of each helmet section. As the name Arche-Type suggests, these unique helmets serve as a representative model—a moment in the development process—from which the entire fizik helmet line emerged. Like a frozen moment in the design and development phase, Arche-Type stands for a prototype that has reached its final form.

SAFETY MEETS PERFORMANCE
Kudo is a high-performance half-shell helmet designed for road bike riding, gravel riding, and cross-country mtb adventures. With a focus on ventilation and weight reduction, Kudo is engineered for intense exertion on hot days, long climbs, and high-intensity rides, all while meeting the highest safety standards.

COOL AND UNCOMPROMISING VENTILATION
Kudo’s sleek, round silhouette minimizes bulk, reduces drag, and provides optimal temperature regulation. Integrated vents ensure excellent cooling, ideal for maintaining consistent performance during demanding rides. Additionally, Kudo is certified to EU standards and offers first-class impact protection. The upper side vents securely hold sunglasses in place when they’re not in use.

DESIGNED FOR SAFETY
The helmet’s smooth, round silhouette is designed to reduce surface tension upon impact, thereby dampening the intensity of the forces. A cross-sectional brace embedded in EPS foam enhances impact protection by efficiently distributing forces across the helmet, contributing to a comprehensive and complete safety concept.

MIPS AIR NODE SYSTEM
Kudo is equipped with the latest MIPS Air Node safety system, which is seamlessly integrated into the padding. This ultra-lightweight, low-friction layer dissipates rotational forces during an impact, remains discreetly in place, and can be easily removed for cleaning.

ADJUSTABLE FIT
Kudo’s adjustment system offers advanced customization options with its finely adjustable dial at the back of the head, which also allows for tilt adjustment, ensuring compatibility with glasses. The retention system includes a special height adjustment feature that lets riders tailor the fit precisely to the shape of their head. A lightweight, tear-resistant fabric around the ears enhances adjustability and comfort.

INTEGRATED VISIBILITY
For added safety, the Kudo features a removable reflector to increase visibility. A USB-rechargeable LED taillight with the same adapter offers multiple brightness levels for both day and night riding.
