The SCOTT Spark RC World Cup combines cutting-edge carbon technology, a high degree of integration, and optimized geometry. Patented integrated suspension system

A key requirement for a suspension system is direct power transfer. Inefficient movements—particularly lateral forces perpendicular to the direction of damping—compromise the system’s efficiency.

Integrating the rear shock into the frame helps reduce these effects. The design around the rear shock and the use of a trunnion mount increase stiffness and minimize unwanted movement. Additionally, a larger bearing at the seat tube pivot point allows for a reinforced frame structure and thus even more efficient power transfer.

The integrated design also allows the rear shock to be positioned deeper within the frame. This lowers the center of gravity, improves handling, and enhances riding stability. At the same time, the rear shock remains fully protected from external influences, ensuring consistent performance even under adverse conditions.

Adjustable Head Tube Angle

The Spark allows for a 0.6° adjustment of the head angle—either flatter or steeper. This adjustment requires neither cutting cables nor bleeding the brakes. To make the change, simply remove the handlebars, rotate the headset 180°, and then reinstall the handlebars.

Syncros Fraser iC Combo

The Spark is equipped with the redesigned Fraser iC Combo from Syncros. Among other things, this was developed to elegantly solve the complex challenge of cable integration. The cockpit is designed so that the cables run under the handlebars and along the sides of the stem before being routed invisibly through the headset via integrated plastic components. The result is a clean, minimalist look that also prevents the cables from kinking or bending.

RockShox Flight Attendant

The fastest XC bicycle is equipped with the new RockShox Flight Attendant suspension system. This automated system adjusts the suspension in real time to the rider’s individual riding style and trail conditions, maximizing efficiency and control.
