The power meter has inherited its rugged yet lightweight design from its predecessor. While riding, the Precision 3+ transmits watts, cadence, and calories to the main unit as usual.

What’s new?

The “+” refers to the Apple Find My technology integrated into the power meter. When the power meter is not in use, the “ Find My ” feature is activated. If the power meter is added to the “ Find My ” app, it can be located via an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or using the “ Find Items App ” on an Apple Watch.

Ride Ready. The 4iiii power meter sensor ships pre-mounted on the selected Shimano crankarm for Hollowtech II bottom brackets. Once mounted on the bicycle* and made ready for connection to a control unit or computer, you can start tracking power immediately.

Factory 2nd

Factory 2nd cranksets have minor assembly marks and have been fitted with a new power meter pod. These were mostly removed from new bikes.

* Important: When installing, you must check whether there is sufficient space between the crank and the frame for the power meter. The manufacturer provides a printable template (“Frame Clearance Guide”) on its website for this purpose.
