SRAM X01 Eagle Chain 12-speed

Description

SRAM X01 Eagle Chain 12-speed

The X01 Eagle™ shifting system ushers in a new era: more freedom and uncompromising performance for enduro riders and trail enthusiasts. World-class riders rely on SRAM components to battle the challenges of nature, the laws of physics, and the clock. This has inspired SRAM: They want to equip you with the most advanced gear they can develop. The X01 Eagle™ has everything you love about the 1x (pronounced “one-x”) shifting system. But it offers even more: it’s durable, precise, smooth-shifting, and quiet. The Eagle™ cassette features twelve pinions ranging from 10 to 50 teeth. With this full gear range, you can take advantage of the 1x system on any terrain, on any surface, and at any speed. SRAM’s X01 Eagle™ shifting system is freedom—how you use it is up to you.

The Sound of Silence

From the outside, it looks like any other chain. But it’s got what it takes. Its completely new design offers a total gear range that was previously only possible with double-chainring shifting systems. This chain plays a key role in making SRAM’s Eagle™ so smooth, precise, durable, and quiet. Its links are smoothed, with no sharp corners or edges. The benefit: a velvety-smooth, nearly silent ride and longer life for the chainring and cassette. The smoother chain plates result in more uniform riveting and higher tensile strength. HARD CHROME™ technology increases the chain’s mileage.

  • Groundbreaking new design and technology
  • Completely new design, manufactured using the latest production methods
  • Innovative Eagle™ X01 chain link with FLOW LINK™ technology for better chain guide and longer service life
  • The Eagle™: quiet, high-tensile, water-resistant
  • Unique features and specific chain design for significantly longer service life of the Eagle™ chainring and cassette

X-SYNC™

SRAM’s X-SYNC™ 1X chainrings deliver maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC™ tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp, narrow tooth profile and the rounded, beveled edges enhance the chain guide. To deliver the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, X-SYNC™ chainrings feature grooves to shed dirt and mud from the inner chain links and rollers. Manufactured in Germany, X-SYNC™ chainrings are a key component of SRAM’s 1X™ drivetrain.

Flow Link

The chain’s ultra-smooth inner links are completely free of sharp edges. This reduces friction against the cassette and chainring. The result: quiet performance and longer life for components. The chain’s design allows for a narrower profile, making it more resistant to twisting. Thanks to its smoother outer links, the riveting is more uniform and tensile strength is higher.

HARD CHROME™

The SRAM HARD CHROME™ chain has four times the (wear) strength of SRAM’s other chains. This is due to the new machining process used for the inner links and rollers. The push-pin strength and overall strength are on par with current chains. The HARD CHROME™ chain lasts longer and is extremely durable.

PowerLock®

SRAM’s chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool-free, secure, and consistent way to connect our chains. Although no particular tools are required for installation with PowerLock, each PowerLock can only be used once due to its tight tolerance range.
