GripGrab Thermo Hi-Vis Skull Cap - Yellow Hi-Vis

It may be a myth that you lose heat more quickly from your head than from other body parts, but it is undoubtedly true that when cycling in winter any unprotected part of your body will quickly dissipate valuable body heat. Your head has a large surface area, so the GripGrab Lightweight Thermal Skull Cap is designed to offer under-helmet insulation and keep you warm and comfortable on cold winter bike rides.

Details of the GripGrab Lightweight Thermal Hi-Vis Skull Cap

The GripGrab Lightweight Thermal Skull Cap is the lightest weight and lowest cost winter cycling skull cap in the GripGrab accessories range. The skull cap has an insulating and soft inner fabric, with a high warmth-to-weight ratio to provide protection and comfort in cold weather conditions, without the bulk of a traditional woolly beanie hat.

When the temperature rises or you work up a sweat with an effort on a climb, this under helmet winter cap remains comfortable thanks to its lightweight breathable fabric. Perspiration can easily escape from within thanks to the winter cycling hat’s moisture management properties – moisture is wicked away by the fabric and then evaporates with ease – to leave you dry and comfortable.

The GripGrab Lightweight Thermal Skull Cap is specific winter cycling headwear; it is designed to be worn underneath a cycling helmet thanks to its stretchy contoured shape, low-profile fabric and flatlock seams. When cycling in low light winter conditions, the reflective logos and detailing on front and rear can help to improve your visibility in traffic.
