That’s why we developed this sleeping bag: The single-layer synthetic fiber filling of the lightweight Sioux 400 sleeping bag saves weight while still providing enough insulation for trekking and hut-to-hut tours in temperate climates. The synthetic fiber wicks away moisture, keeps you warm—unlike down—even when wet, and dries quickly. The mummy shape and the anatomically contoured hood trap heat and ensure a comfortable sleeping environment. Too warm?

Then excess heat can quickly escape through the two-way zipper. The outer fabric is treated to be water- and dirt-repellent. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, also known as PFAS or PFC chemicals. The main materials, as well as the filling, are made of 100% polyester.
