We usually end up using the sleeping bag in the summer anyway. The single-layer synthetic fiber filling of the Sioux 400 S sleeping bag (for people with a body size up to 170 cm) saves weight while still providing enough insulation for trekking and hut-to-hut tours in temperate climates. The synthetic fibers provide warmth even when wet and wick away moisture. Thanks to the mummy shape and the anatomically contoured hood, you can count on efficient insulation, and the 2-way zipper allows you to release excess heat.

The outer fabric is treated to be water- and stain-repellent. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, also known as PFAS or PFC chemicals. The main materials, as well as the filling, are made of 100% polyester.
