Vaude Freney Jacket VI Women - dusty fern
Vaude Freney Jacket VI Women - dusty fern
Lightweight Women's Insulated Jacket for Active Mountain Hikes
- Warm, breathable, and water repellent
- Primaloft® filling provides warmth even when wet
- Main material made primarily of polyamide
Whether you’re on a mountain tour, a vía ferrata, or a short hike: Anyone out in alpine terrain must always be prepared for the weather to change. The lightweight Freney VI women’s insulated jacket packs down to a very small size in its own front pocket, making it the ideal source of warmth to always have on hand. Unlike down, the synthetic fiber insulation reliably keeps you warm even when wet. Perfect for active pursuits where you might work up a sweat.
The snug-fitting hood and one-handed adjustable hem keep the cold wind out. Alpine design: The two zippered front pockets are positioned so they’re easily accessible even while wearing a harness. And thanks to the pre-shaped sleeves, the jacket won’t slip out of the harness even during high overhead grips. The outer fabric is treated to be water- and dirt-repellent.
VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, also known as PFAS or PFC chemicals. This means the jacket can be worn not only as a warm layer under a hardshell but also on its own as an outer layer.
