A lightweight, packable, waterproof jacket.

This lightweight shell jacket is designed for year-round mountaineering, but is also ideal for general outdoor activities, from trekking to ski touring. It packs down very small, so you can always take it with you. Norrøna uses the dri1 fabric because it is lightweight, packable, breathable (20,000 g MVTR), and waterproof (20,000 water column). The dri1 fabric consists of an outer layer made of recycled nylon produced from Bureo yarns, 22d, 73 g/m². The inner side of this fabric creates a small microclimate between you and the PU membrane. Additionally, the dri1 is treated with a PFC-free water-repellent impregnation.

Key features include: a helmet-compatible hood with one-handed adjustment, cuffs with hook-and-loop fasteners, an elastic hem, a zippered chest pocket, and a zippered ventilation panel on the chest. The jacket has a technical fit with a Y-cut and pre-shaped sleeves for good freedom of movement while climbing. A longer cut at the back provides additional protection. There are no seams on the shoulders to prevent chafing when wearing a backpack.
