• The extremely impact-resistant and shock-absorbing Rock Guard effectively protects both the high-quality carbon frame and the motor unit from bumps and rock impacts—perfect for wild rides downhill and uphill.
• Tedious chain maintenance after every ride, as well as adjusting the shifting after contact with foreign objects, are a thing of the past thanks to the low-maintenance combination of gear system and belt .
• Annoying chain rattling is a thing of the past—the flexible belt tensioner always ensures optimal tension in the system, no matter the riding situation. Because only a quiet bicycle is a fast bicycle.  
• The combination of motor and drive system shifts the center of gravity to the middle of the bicycle. The elimination of the cassette and rear derailleur ensures easier handling, and the rear triangle—tried and tested from the Rapcon series—performs even better.
• Ventilation slots in the headset area provide additional cooling for the battery. Brutal rides even in hot weather? Check!
• The swiveling cable guide at the bottom bracket prevents cable movement during suspension compression. Good for the kinematics—and the cables will thank you, too. Further forward in the frame: the sealed charging port.
• Ergonomic control unit on the handlebars with excellent readability.
• The rechargeable battery capacity can be expanded to up to 1595 Wh to up to 1595 Wh.
• A special design limits the steering angle and prevents collisions between the handlebars and the top tube. This protects the frame during transport and in the event of a fall.
• Cables and hoses run from the handlebars through a special headset into the frame. The smart headset contributes to a clean look and protects the cables.
• The hydraulic Magura Louise Elite disc brakes provide powerful stopping power with rotors of 203mm size.
• The high-quality RockShox suspension with 160mm of travel (front and rear) smoothly absorbs bumps.
• A carbon frame reduces weight while remaining extremely robust and stiff.

Compact and low-maintenance: the Pinion drivetrain

Pinion’s Motor.Gearbox.Unit ( MGU for short) combines a powerful, wear-free electric motor and an electric gearshift into an innovative drive system housed in a single housing.

The advantages:

• Thanks to its sealed design (except for an oil change every 10,000 km), the Motor-Gearbox-Unit is completely maintenance-free.
• Thanks to the durable belt drive, there is no need for a chain or rear derailleur—two components that are constantly exposed to dirt and water. The advantage: significantly reduced maintenance requirements.
• Without a rear derailleur and cassette, and with the motor-gear unit centrally located in the bottom bracket area, the unsprung mass at the rear wheel is reduced to a minimum. The result: optimal weight distribution with balanced off-road handling.
• The integrated drivetrain enables seamless shifting under full load. If desired, the Pinion MGU shifts gears automatically.
