This classic among waterproof messenger backpacks is now also available in PVC-free PS33 nylon fabric and with an all-new color scheme. It’s simply unbeatable for everyday use at school, college, sports, and leisure—and for the commute to work. The Velocity Lite is durable and waterproof, and its particularity is the distinctive back pad, which ensures good ventilation. The carrying system—especially the shoulder straps—has now been ergonomically optimized for an even more comfortable fit. The hip belt is easily adjustable and can even be completely removed. Access and packing are wonderfully easy thanks to the roll-top hook-and-loop fastener. If, for example, the Velcro flap ever wears out after many years of intensive use, you can send your Velocity to ORTLIEB to have the flap replaced and give your backpack a new lease on life. All components of the backpack are easy to replace or repair. This makes the Velocity a sustainable, lifelong companion. The interior has been redesigned: In addition to the large zipper main compartment, the Velocity now features a padded laptop compartment. The corner guards on the bottom corners protect against wear and tear. A taillight or bike helmet can also be attached to the Velcro flap. Like all ORTLIEB products, it’s made with sustainability in mind and in Germany.
