Details of the POC VPD Air Back Protector

Whether you’re skiing, snowboarding, or mountain biking: Enjoy comfort and safety with reliable protection. The VPD Air Back is an extremely lightweight and ventilated back protector with easily adjustable attachment points for the shoulder and hip straps, making it even easier to find the perfect fit. Since the attachment points for the shoulder straps and hip belt can be easily adjusted, everyone benefits from a high level of comfort and can ensure that the protector fits correctly and securely. VPD, short for viscoelastic polymer, is extremely malleable, adapts to your body shape, and follows your contours as you move. When impacted, the material hardens while absorbing and dispersing energy, thereby contributing to comprehensive protection. This new generation of the VPD system features an optimized material blend that is now 30% lighter than its predecessor. The protector is certified to EN 1621-2, Level 1, and is approved for both cycling and skiing. It offers protection with exceptionally high ventilation for maximum comfort.
