The original AirBreaker is the proven race classic, built for ventilation and aerodynamics. Large air inlets, low weight, aerodynamic FlowStraps, a precise Zoom Ace adjustment dial, and the rear AirPort for your glasses keep it race-ready. A great choice if you want a proven, highly ventilated race helmet.
ABUS AirBreaker 2.0 – the new generation
The AirBreaker 2.0 builds on its predecessor’s dynamic shape with more refined lines. A new Aero Blade made from carbon-reinforced material at the rear reduces drag. The Zoom adjustment dial and Flow Straps Pro provide a more stable fit, while the Eyewear Port securely holds your glasses at the front. Together, these updates help you get even more from your helmet.
ABUS AirBreaker 2.0 MIPS – added rotational protection
The MIPS version adds a low-friction MIPS liner to the AirBreaker 2.0 to help counter rotational forces in a crash without compromising ventilation. You also get a magnetic Fidlock buckle. It’s the flagship safety model for maximum protection.

Aero Blade on the ABUS AirBreaker
The Aero Blade sits at the upper rear of the AirBreaker 2.0. Made from carbon-reinforced material, it smooths airflow behind the helmet to reduce drag while supporting cooling airflow. Carbon makes this possible without adding weight. The result: more speed for the same effort on flat sections and descents.
Acti Cage on the ABUS AirBreaker
Acti Cage is a structural reinforcement integrated into the helmet’s EPS foam. Hidden from view, it holds the construction together and distributes forces. By adding stability, Acti Cage allows for larger air inlets without compromising protection. You get better airflow while retaining the protection you need in a crash.
Forced Air Cooling on the ABUS AirBreaker
Forced Air Cooling channels air through the helmet for continuous ventilation. Internal channels connect the air inlets, drawing air in at the front, directing it over your head, and releasing it at the rear. You’ll notice the difference on hot race days and slower climbs, when cooling would otherwise drop off. Airflow remains open even with your glasses stored in the helmet.
