Magic Milk is made by British manufacturer OKO, which has been developing tire sealants since 1978 and still produces them in the UK today. OKO started out developing solutions for agricultural machinery and commercial vehicles, where a puncture means costly downtime. Its cycling formulas use synthetic latex instead of natural latex, contain no ammonia and remain liquid for at least six months without clumping around the tire bead. The tubeless range seals punctures up to 8 mm and, according to the manufacturer, works at any pressure and temperature. It’s reliable puncture protection trusted by SCOTT-SRAM pros at the highest level of World Cup racing.
Two things determine which sealant you need: whether you ride tubeless or with inner tubes, and where you ride.
- Tubeless Original: For road and light off-road riding, where smaller punctures are more common
- Tubeless-Pro Hi-Fibre: For MTB and gravel, with embedded fibers to seal larger punctures
