The Lumiko Hooded Jacket is one of Mountain Equipment’s lighter fleece products. It is exceptionally breathable, dries quickly, and offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. It is one of Mountain Equipment’s most versatile fleece pieces, designed for year-round use and a perfect companion for all kinds of adventures: trekking, hiking, ski touring, or alpine climbing. The functional stretch fleece, made from 93% recycled materials, is soft and wicks away sweat exceptionally well. The waffle weave reduces weight, doesn’t add bulk, and doesn’t compromise on warmth. Seam-sealed construction feels comfortable even against bare skin. The Lumiko impresses with its high level of comfort—even when worn with a backpack and climbing harness or during strenuous activity. The close-fitting hood protects the neck and head from wind and sun. It fits under a helmet, making it ideal for alpine or winter climbing. The narrow Active Fit and form-fitting sleeves don’t add bulk and ensure easy layering. Freedom of movement is guaranteed by the stretch fabric. To regulate temperature during challenging pitches, the full zip can be opened completely. Small items like keys or snacks can be safely stowed in the zippered chest pocket.
