Continental GatorSkin wire-bead tire
The wire-bead GatorSkin uses a rigid bead to help the tire hold its shape. At BIKE24, you'll find it in 622 for 28 inch wheels as well as 26x1 1/8 inches, 32-630 and 23-571.
Continental GatorSkin folding tire and Black Edition
The folding GatorSkin replaces the wire bead with a flexible bead, allowing it to be rolled up and packed in a saddle bag as a spare on longer trips. We carry the standard 622 version as well as the Black Edition in 23-622, 25-622, 28-622 and 32-622. The Black Edition features black sidewall protection instead of brown.
Continental Sprinter GatorSkin tubular tire
The Sprinter GatorSkin uses a tubular construction, with the inner tube sewn into the tire and the complete tire glued to the rim. It combines this construction with DuraSkin sidewall protection and SafetySystem Breaker for classic tubular setups that need added puncture protection during training.

Continental GatorSkin PolyX Breaker
PolyX Breaker is a protective polyester layer between the casing and tread. Continental adapted the fiber from its automotive tire technology, using a tightly woven crosswise construction to create a dense protective layer. This helps prevent shards of glass, pieces of wire and other sharp objects from reaching the inner tube.
Continental GatorSkin DuraSkin
DuraSkin is a fine polyamide fabric that wraps around the outside of the sidewall. It protects an area regularly exposed to scuffs and abrasion from curbs, tracks and road edges. DuraSkin gives the standard GatorSkin its distinctive brown sidewall, while the Black Edition keeps it understated in black.
