Discover FOX Podium suspension forks at BIKE24

Fast enduro descents demand stiffness up front without sacrificing sensitivity. FOX Factory FOX Podium combines an inverted single-crown chassis with 47 mm tubes, a massive fork crown and a 20x110 mm Boost axle. GRIP X2 gives you independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustments, so you can dial in the damping for the terrain and your riding style. The FLOAT EVOL GlideCore air spring assembly can move laterally to minimize binding under bending loads. The result is a suspension fork built specifically for fast enduro and e-MTB descents. Choose from 160 or 170 mm of travel in a range of configurations.

Why choose the FOX Podium?

The inverted single-crown chassis defines the Podium’s distinctive design. On the trail, it delivers clear performance benefits.

  • Stiffness for high speeds: 47 mm tubes and a massive crown increase fore-aft stiffness.
  • Smooth under load: GlideCore reduces friction as the fork flexes while riding.
  • Fine-tuned damping: GRIP X2 provides separate high- and low-speed compression and rebound adjustment.

Choosing the right travel and fork crown

Choose between 160 and 170 mm of travel, with each option affecting axle-to-crown length and bike geometry differently. 58HT and 68HT refer to the two available fork crown designs. Both use the same 1.5-inch tapered steerer tube.

160 or 170 mm of travel?

The FOX Podium is available with 160 or 170 mm of travel. The 170 mm fork has a longer axle-to-crown length than the 160 mm option, which affects the front end of your bike. Your frame’s approved travel range and intended geometry should therefore determine your choice. Depending on the configuration, the fork comes with a 58HT or 68HT crown.

58HT or 68HT fork crown?

58HT and 68HT refer to two fork crown designs with diameters of 58 and 68 mm respectively. Both use the same 1.5-inch tapered steerer tube. The choice is primarily about creating a clean transition to the head tube: 58HT visually suits slimmer front ends, while 68HT matches bulkier frame designs. Head tube compatibility remains the same.

FOX Podium suspension fork technologies

The inverted chassis combines high fore-aft stiffness with sensitive suspension performance. GlideCore allows the air spring assembly to move under bending loads, while GRIP X2 gives you precise control over damping.

FOX Podium inverted chassis

With the inverted design, the large-diameter upper tubes sit at the crown, while the lower tubes extend down to the axle. FOX uses 47 mm tubes and a massive fork crown for high fore-aft stiffness. The 20x110 mm Boost axle adds the torsional stiffness needed for the inverted design.

FOX Podium GRIP X2 damper

GRIP X2 gives you the adjustment range to dial in the fork for fast, rough descents. High- and low-speed compression and rebound can each be adjusted independently. This lets you fine-tune braking support and the fork’s response to fast impacts for your setup.

FLOAT EVOL GlideCore air spring assembly

GlideCore decouples parts of the air spring assembly so they can move with the chassis under dynamic bending loads. This helps the air spring move freely with less friction even when the fork is under load, allowing it to remain sensitive over rough terrain and maintain traction.
