Maxxis Ikon with MaxxSpeed
This is the race option: 120 TPI, EXO sidewall, Tubeless Ready. Sizes range from 29x2.00 through 2.20 and 2.35 up to the wide 29x2.40 WT, plus 27.5x2.35 and 26 inch. On firm ground, the tire feels light on its feet and accelerates readily.
Maxxis Ikon Dual
The Dual option uses a 60 TPI casing and two rubber compounds in the tread that combine low rolling resistance with cornering grip. It lasts longer and costs less than the race option. It’s available with a tan sidewall and EXO in 26, 27.5, and 29 inch sizes, all in 2.20 width.
Maxxis Ikon MPC
MPC is the base option in the series. The Maxxis Performance Compound uses a single rubber compound, prioritizing durability and affordability over race performance. Available as a folding or wire-bead tire in 26, 27.5, and 29 inch with a 2.20 width.
