Record 13 – From The Same Stone

The relationship between material and intention has shaped Italian craftsmanship for centuries. Just as stone gives Italy’s cities and roads their architecture and structure, the Record 13 platform, in keeping with this philosophy, defines a new generation of performance. Building on the technical foundation of the 13-speed drivetrain components introduced with the Super Record series, Campagnolo is expanding its portfolio to reach a wider range of athletes. However, the core aspects remain unchanged: fast and precise shifting, consistent braking control and seamless electronic integration. And all of this is tailored to the entire spectrum of modern cycling: road bike, all-road and gravel. Three disciplines. One vision.

Campagnolo Record 13 rear derailleur

Completely redesigned for the current generation, the Record 13 rear derailleur sets standards in terms of road-ready shifting performance. A fully revised shifting geometry enhances efficiency across the entire cassette range and allows for gear changes with maximum smoothness and speed, even under load. Despite the additional sprocket, shifting is even faster than on models with 12-speed drivetrains.

Its function and design are derived directly from the Super Record 13 platform. Accordingly, the rear derailleur’s architecture—with optimized positioning beneath the cassette—not only contributes to a minimalist aesthetic but also improves aerodynamics and ensures flawless alignment between the derailleur pulleys and sprockets. The result are even quieter, more precise and more reliable gear changes, even on uneven terrain. At the same time, the chain is optimally guided through every phase of pedaling by the derailleur pulleys which feature a differentiated profile and 14 teeth each.

The wireless rear derailleur is powered by a removable battery that offers a range of up to 750 km and charges ultra-fast (60 minutes to 100 %). The charge status can be checked via LED, the MyCampy app or a cycling computer. In terms of appearance, the Record 13 rear derailleur features an outer carbon cage with a Direct-Mold finish, as well as anodized aluminum components with tone-on-tone details—an expression of elegance and iconic aesthetics.

Unlock System | This function allows the rear derailleur to be manually unlocked and moved to the preferred position in the event of a system malfunction. Re-engagement is also possible while using the lever to shift up.
